i've made the pilgrimage to manchester several times since most of my favourite bands (joy division, new order, the smiths, james, puressence, happy mondays, stone roses, charlatans, and more) formed in or around this city. from great clubs to great record shops, manchester has it all. also, don't forget to visit affleck's palace whilst you're there!
